When i get back ill take it to a specialist. Sadly i cant do anything about it now since im working abroad. I went to the rog asus website and it appears most people overclock this model to around 3.1-3.4 ghz. Its all very good advice you have given me. Hey Hawk, thanks for your reply to my predicament. Overclocking a laptop while possible, prolly isn't the best idea when there's no room or airvolume to mange the excess heat, not to mention the reduced battery life per charge, and most of them are plastic cases and make for a nice little oven to cook your machine.

My advise would be to get someone to reset your machine back to stock or go for a less demanding overclock that doesn't bump up the Vcore so much and generate as much heat. Who ever overclocked it didn't check its heat generation under hvy load or linpack test it to make it generate heat to see if it was within safe operating limits.

No driver or software will change that, and different software (Games) will use it differently and cause more or less heat. If you want to get rid of the heat then you'd have to go for a lower overclock or none at all to get shut of the heat. Your heats being caused by the overclock and the CPU being under heavy load its as simple as that, and it being a laptop it just doesn't have the capability to deal with the extra heat.
